BBO
- BBO is a negative uniaxial nonlinear optical crystal. It is well known for generating 2nd to 5th harmonics of Nd:YAG laser, with high conversion efficiency: 70% for SHG@532 nm, 60% for THG@355 nm, 50% for FHG@266 nm.
- It features a broad transmission range, high nonlinear coefficient, low refractive index and non-hygroscopic property. Custom cut angles are available to meet different phase-matching conditions. It is widely applied in UV lithography, laser micro-machining and medical optics.
