Faraday Rotator
- Faraday rotator rotates the polarization plane of light based on Faraday magneto-optic effect. It realizes non-reciprocal polarization rotation, commonly used together with polarizers to build optical isolators.
Our Faraday Rotator is bare magneto-optic crystal chip based on the Faraday magneto-optic effect. It produces non-reciprocal polarization rotation under an external magnetic field. As the core raw material for optical isolators, it is supplied to component manufacturers for secondary assembly.
Features
- Non-reciprocal polarization rotation
- Stable 45° rotation angle, custom rotation angle available
- Low insertion loss
- High isolation performance after assembling with polarizers and magnets
- Custom working wavelength supported
- Multiple shapes available: square (11×11mm as main specification) and round wafers
Application
Mainly used for manufacturing optical isolators, widely applied in laser systems and fiber optical communication systems.
