C-lens
Product Introduction
C-lens is a cylindrical rod micro spherical lens widely used for fiber collimation and optical coupling in optical communication systems. One end is a precision spherical surface for beam focusing, while the other end is processed with an angled facet, typically 8°, to suppress back reflection. It converts divergent light emitted from single-mode fiber into collimated parallel beams for passive optical assemblies.
Features
• Precision spherical surface and angled end facet
• Low insertion loss and stable beam collimating performance
• Available AR coatings for 1310 nm and 1550 nm telecom bands
• Customizable diameter, rod length and facet angle
• Consistent dimensional accuracy for mass assembly
Application
Commonly integrated into fiber collimators, optical isolators, optical circulators, fiber switches and other passive optical components in fiber communication.
